7 candidates held during PGI’s entrance exam for MD, MS

November 10, 2012

Seven girl candidates were detained for using bluetooth devices in PGI exam at DAV School Sector 15, Chandigarh following CBI raids at several centres where the entrance exam for MD and MD courses of the PGI was being held here today. The CBI conducted raids at all the 11exam centres after it received an anonymous e-mail, complaining that some imposters were appearing in place of real candidates in the exam. Sources said the seven detained students were allegedly using bluetooth devices during the exam for cheating. They said that some middlemen were also arrested.
