About the Author

Dr Manish Kumar Singh, did his MBBS from SCB Medical college, Cuttack, Odisha. He did his post graduation in Community medicine from the prestigious King George Medical University, Lucknow [Now CSMMU]. He was awarded GOLD medal in MD Community medicine. He has presented paper in many national conferences in community medicine & received the best paper in a session at IPHA conference 2009. He has worked for the World Health Organisation. Currently he is serving as a faculty in Department of Community medicine, BRD Medical college, Gorakhpur. He is trained in RNTCP, STI/RTI surveillance, TB HIV, Routine immunization supportive supervision & has been associated with ICDS appraisal, BSPM, Universal salt iodization etc.
